A really large hot air balloon taking off from the top of a mountain.
I'm not afraid of heights, never have been and probably never will be, so going up in a hot air balloon just makes sense to me. Obviously, as a mode of travel it doesn't make sense, I mean, how do you control where you go? I don't know much about them but I'm guessing you go wherever the wind takes you.
As long as that place is pretty then I guess that's ok with me.
But seriously,...

5. Road trip across America
Posted on 13:52 by siravarice

Just a short trip really.
For many years, I've wanted to travel across America, but every time I sit down for an hour or so and plan a route that I like, I realise that it is different to the last one I thought up.
There is a common theme however, which involves at least some form of stint driving on the old route 66, now replaced by the Interstate system (annoyingly) with a lot of it actually being off limits nowadays. However, there are still...

4. Cambodia
Posted on 09:24 by siravarice
I've always wanted to go to Cambodia to see the ancient ruins and experience the jungle and the heat.
Ancient Ruins, now with Monks!
I would love to see the ruins of all the old temples, it's something I have wanted to do for a long time instead of going on a holiday to relax and lounge around a pool all day. I want to go out and see the world and enjoy it while I can, the only problem at the moment is money (and a degree) all getting in the...

3. Be a Cliche for Her
Posted on 15:04 by siravarice
It's always a bit grey in Paris.
I know most men reading this will probably get through the first sentences and just leave because there aren't enough explosions on the page, or enough boobs, or enough gaming references, but for the few of them that have a woman in their life, they might continue through to the next paragraph in the hope that their silly little dream to treat their other half like they do in the movies isn't silly at all.
People...

2. Watch the Monaco Grand Prix
Posted on 17:07 by siravarice
Specifically, watch it from a hotel room window whilst sipping a glass of champagne and a very large grin on my face whilst my ears bleed from the noise of the screaming F1 cars.
I would have the penthouse suite of course.
I can thank my parents for being a bit of a petrol head, it's something I am unflinchingly proud of however and watching the most famous race on the planet from the most iconic corner would be a dream come true. To experience...

1. Visit New York
Posted on 09:24 by siravarice
I've been to America a few times, but always to Florida (the holiday state). It's a fantastic place to go, the weather is traditionally hot and humid, the beaches are amazing, the fish is incredible and the sights are just as good as well. But I've always wanted to visit New York because of the history it has, the hustle and bustle of every day life as well as seeing this transition from the park to the skyline:
Of course my stay there would...
Welcome Wlikommen Bienvenue Etc...

Thought I would start a blog not only as a way to remind myself of all the things I want to do in life, but to let others in on my own dreams and possibly share some of yours along the way?
I called it half full because it's a type of bucket list for me, and I want to be positive about it, hence the link to the half full/half empty phrase. I'm mostly a positive person and figured if I can't be positive about this, I simply shouldn't bother!
Layout may change frequently because I'm always changing things, apologies if it looks different every...
